Final Design Review

We had in Merate (LC) at the (cooler) site of the Osservatorio astronomico di Brera, the Final Design Review of SOXS (July 19-20).This closes the cycle of ESO reviews, following the reviews on detectors and optics carried out earlier this year.
We had a though review, discussing all instrument in all its aspects, as well as the operation model for the SOXS operations. The review went well and most of the SOXS documents were approved. As often happens, especially at the FDR which closes the project ‘on paper’, some issues were raised. They will be closed in October 2018, with a DeltaFDR.
