SOXS is starting the Preliminary Acceptance in Europe (PAE) with ESO. SOXS will go under deep scrutiny by ESO people, to obtain the green light to go to Chile. The PAE will be somewhat diluted. We will start with testing the Instrument Software (June 3-4) and the ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests (July 4-5). Safety tests will occur early in September and then all the other tests will follow.
