SPHERE is an instrument mainly aimed to the imaging of exoplanets and of protoplanetary disks around young and nearby stars. It is now operating at the UT3 telescope at VLT in Paranal Observatory since more than three years. I will present the main findings obtained since now with this instrument especially for what concerns the field of the characterization of giant planets and brown dwarfs.
