FERMI@Elettra is a EUV/Soft X-ray Free Electron Laser (FEL) user facility under commissioning at Sincrotrone Trieste in Italy. It is based on a High Gain Generation Scheme (HGHG) driven by a seed laser that provides a fully coherent and transform limited radiation with high fluence and tuning wavelength. A section fully dedicated to the photon analysis diagnostics, named PADReS, has been installed and commissioned during the last years. After PADReS section, four beamlines will be installed in the experimental hall: TIMER, TIMEX, DiProI and LDM. Three of them will employ active X-ray optics in order to focus the FEL beam as well as to perform a controlled beam- shaping at focus. The exposed techniques are also of potential interest for testing optical elements of X-ray telescopes. We discuss the PADReS diagnostic elements and the beamline designs showing some results obtained during the last year.
