I will show recent results on the dark matter fraction (fDM) in Early-Type galaxies (ETGs) from their centers out to several effective radii, using different techniques and mass tracers (integrated light, planetary nebulae, strong lensing). I will then focus on some new DM scaling relations for ETGs and correlations which link the fDM to the galaxy evolution with particular reference to their star formation history and galaxy assembly processes, e.g. the effect of the baryon collapse. All results are discussed within the standard LCDM scenario.
