In clusters of galaxies direct evidence of the existence of magnetic fields and relativistic particles is provided by the detection of rare and extended synchrotron radio sources in the diffuse intra-cluster medium (halos and mini-halos). We will show the results of a program aiming to detect new mini-radio-halos, the study of their physical features and the comparison with other halos and mini-halos known in the literature.
