Atmospheric imaging Cherenkov telescopes (IACTs) observe the Cherenkov light emitted by particles created by high energy (E>50 GeV) photons in the upper athmosphere. From the observed light it is possible to reconstruct the energy and the direction of the incoming high-energy photons. MAGIC is a IACT located at La Palma, particularly suitable for observations at low energies, E<200 GeV. After a brief introduction, I will review some recent results, with emphasis on the study of AGNs. In particular I will discuss the detection of the quasar 3C279 and the possible detection of the radio-galaxy 3C66B.
