In this talk I will present some new results concerning the evolution of the properties of galaxies in clusters up to z>1. In particular, I will focus on: (1) the passive colour evolution experienced by red galaxies (2) the active luminosity evolution of galaxies taken as a whole (3) the constancy of the stellar mass function of massive galaxies (4) the absence of a Butcher-Oemler effect.
