I will review our current understanding of the radio properties of stellar mass black holes in X-ray binaries and discuss them in the framework of the recently proposed unified model for the jet/accretion coupling in these systems. I will further report on the discovery of a low surface brightness, jet-powered radio nebula around the stellar black hole in Cyg X-1, and how such structure can be used as an effective calorimeter for the jet kinetic power.
