The BEaTriX is the X ray test facility delivering a large and collimated beam. We can use BEaTriX in two configurations, by repositioning the optical elements, one with higher flux, and another with higher collimation. In this talk, we discuss a deconvolution based method to mathematically derive the PSF of perfectly collimated X-ray beam, using the PSF information acquired with the high flux configuration. To design the deconvolution kernel, we simulate the BEaTrix beam using the Hartmann analysis performed for this configuration. We then deconvolve the modeled BEaTriX beam with the experimental image. We use Richardson–Lucy deconvolution, an iterative process, provides results comparable to those obtained with the high-collimation configuration, offering a more efficient approach by reducing the acquisition time. We would appreciate discussing the subject with all of you to get possible feedback for improving our model.
